The Parvaah team frequently visits slums and orphanages in Jaipur and Delhi with the aim of educating underprivileged children and women about sanitation and hygiene. Things such as the mere importance of a hand wash before every meal and the importance of brushing teeth every morning to ensure oral hygiene are taught to children. The women are educated regarding the use of sanitary napkins and the precautionary measures they need to take to avoid infections and allergies, which generally spread from a mother to the entire family. Besides, our volunteers teach these women/children the basics of English on a regular basis.
Parvaah also organizes educational seminars to help school students who are looking forward to gain admission in Indian/ foreign universities. By participating in these meetings, students and their parents get the opportunity to interact with counsellors/experts and clear their doubts regarding college admissions overseas and within the country.
